Where do you meet?
We meet at Riverview Methodist in Patterson Township, Beaver Falls.
What kind of organization is Coram Deo?
Coram Deo is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that partners with parents to provide a classical education for their children. We offer academic, fine arts, and common arts courses for homeschooled students. We are not a school, and all students must be registered with the state of Pennsylvania as homeschool students.
What’s the difference between classical education and modern education?
Classical education uses traditional pedagogical techniques such as memorization, logical thinking, and rhetorical skills in order to nurture and cultivate the student as a whole person, for the whole of life.
What grades does Coram Deo serve?
Coram Deo serves grades K-12.
Are uniforms required for students?
Uniforms are required for our Tuesday/Thursday academic classes. Friday’s Arts Program is a dress-down day.
What religious affiliation does Coram Deo have?
Coram Deo is not associated with any one denomination or church, but serves families from various Christian denominations. We do ask parents to sign a Statement of Faith.
Does my student have to participate in the full program?
Our program is designed with the subjects and content integrated with one another, so we do encourage students to participate in the full program. However, part-time enrollment is available.
